A new study conducted that shows Acupuncture can assist IVF

A recent study was done by Dr. Hana Visnova at her clinic where she logged data from three years of IVF cycles, involving thousands of patients.

The study found that there was an increased pregnancy rate–66% compared to 60% in those who used Acupuncture immediately before and after embryo implantation and those who didn’t.(Source)

Acupuncture is used before embryo implantation because it can increase blood flow to the uterus.

This also makes the lining of the uterus itself more receptive to the embryo when it’s transferred which aids implantation during IVF.

Also, acupuncture has been proven to help with stress, and undergoing IVF can be a stressful time.

When the body is overwhelmed with stress, it goes into “fight or flight mode” which is not good for reproductive health. So, by reducing your stress levels, acupuncture can help your body react better to IVF.
